Payroll Specialist
$23-25/hr DOE
Monday-Friday 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM
A local hospital is in need of a Payroll Specialist. This person will also assist with AP processing and invoices.
Responsibilities will include:
- Process and manage vendor invoices, payments, and records.
- Reconcile accounts and assist with year-end closing procedures.
- Verify, process, and transmit payroll, including deductions, shift differential, call pay, taxes, and other payroll-related records and ensure timely filing of required forms (e.g., W-2s, 941)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in payroll processing, compensation, and general accounting.
- Experience in a healthcare environment is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, WOrd, and HRIS.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
