Production Technician – $18.50-$20.75/hr. DOE

Are you an experienced Production Technician looking for a new opportunity? If so, this position is for you! An established manufacturer of premium service trucks in the Sheldon, IA area is looking for a Production Technician to join their growing team! The Production Technician will be responsible for producing quality work in a fast-paced environment, effectively work within a team, with limited supervision, and make decisions about quality and safety of work performed.
Responsibilities:
- Assist coworkers in the setup and operation of different areas within the painting department.
- Interpret and communicate blueprints and/or shop drawings for product specifications in the areas of assembly and installation.
- Prepare units for bedliner and undercoat, paint, and mounting of doors.
- Utilize hand, power, and other special equipment.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma, GED or minimum 2 years of related experience.
- Familiarity with customer/supplier relationship and ability to present information.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as ratios, percentages, proportions, area and volume.
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50lbs, stand, walk, sit, climb, kneel, crouch and occasionally be exposed to fumes and/or airborne particles.
