Warehouse Associate - $18.00/hr.
Mon-Fri 8a – 5p
Are you a detail-oriented, motivated person that focuses on attention to detail? Are you looking for a fast-paced position where time will fly? If so, this job is for you! A local distributing facility is looking for Warehouse Associates to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be accurately processing incoming shipments in a timely manner. You will also be accurately and safely picking and packing orders for pickup and delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately process incoming shipments in a timely manner.
- Pull, fill, pack, and set up orders for delivery or pickup.
- Safely operate a forklift to move products.
- Use computer to log shipments into inventory.
- Report any quality or inventory discrepancy issues to the appropriate person.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Two years in related experience and/or training required. Valid Drivers License required.
- Must be able to communicate positively with employees, supervisors, sales staff and customers.
- Must be able to use computers and other common office equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and crawl. Continually required to talk and hear.
- Ability to regularly push, pull, or lift up to 50lbs, up to 80lbs or more as a team.
