Job Summary :
The QA Analyst II is responsible for designing and executing test plans, identifying software defects, and collaborating with development teams to resolve issues. In this mid-level position, the QA Analyst II is more active in improving testing processes, mentoring junior team members, and ensuring software quality across multiple projects. The QA Analyst II works closely with development teams to identify and resolve critical issues in delivering high-quality software solutions.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Design and execute detailed test plans and test cases to identify software defects.
- Report and document software defects with detailed replication steps and expected outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Perform regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not recur in subsequent software versions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of test results and metrics related to software quality.
- Identify, analyze, and troubleshoot issues during testing, providing root cause analysis.
- Lead efforts in enhancing test coverage and improving testing processes.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior QA team members.
- Ensure software meets performance and functional requirements by executing manual and automated test cases.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align testing efforts with business objectives.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
