What are the responsibilities and job description for the Document Processing Associate (On-Site) position at Avenu Insights & Analytics?
Job Summary:
Document preparation and scanning of historically significant records. Ability to work in a team environment and do repetitive tasks. Must be able to follow defined processes and have laser focus for detail and meet production goals. Hired as Level 1 scanner offers opportunity to advance to Level 3 based on performance.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- On-site document scanning, including but not limited to: moving and tracking originals to/from storage and scanning areas, preparing documents by removing staples and other bindings, using scanning equipment to image loose sheets and similar items.
- Inventory tracking and indexing of original documents.
- Duties may also include file lookups using an electronic document management system.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
- High School or equivalent.
- Scanning/digitizing of records experience is desirable.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Willingness to take on new challenges.
- Must be reliable and responsible with a high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to use a computer and software like Excel, Word, MS Teams and learn Avenu internal production systems proficiently.
Work Environment:
- You will be working in our customer’s County Warehouse Building and must wear business casual clothes. Always conduct yourself in a professional manner as you are representing Avenu.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate as the employee works in an office setting, at an individual workstation, using telephone and computer
Physical Demands:
- Lift up to 30 pounds.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for most of the day
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a scanner and camera
- This position needs to occasionally move about inside the office
- The person in this position frequently communicates via email and telephone
