What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Assistant position at Avenue Consultants?
Description
This position is responsible to assist a Utilities Coordinator on the documentation and preparation of agreements related to relocation of utilities associated with highway construction projects, according to established procedures. We are looking for a self-motivated detail-oriented team player with strong organizational skills and a desire to learn about utility coordination for transportation projects. This position is available for our Clearfield and/or Taylorsville location.
Job Duties
- Scheduling coordinating meetings with utility companies.
- Taking meeting notes and distributing meeting minutes.
- Assist in the coordination for the protection, adjustment, and relocation of utilities.
- Assist in the preparation of utility, cooperative, and betterment agreements and oversee their review, execution and filing.
- Serving as a resource to designers, project managers and consultants for project meeting scheduling and other project-related tasks.
- Maintaining a communication log of correspondence, meetings, and phone calls.
- Updating tracking spreadsheets.
- Completing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Associates Degree in Communications or related field preferred
- Prior communication and organization experience is preferred

- Good time management and ability to prioritize
- Proven ability to stay highly organized while coordinating multiple tasks
- Detail oriented and self-starter; can work independently and in a team environment
