Job Summary :
We are looking for Linux Design and implementation Engineers for our environments; a mix of servers, workstations, storage, networks, and custom hardware, for a large Project producing a critical, strategic national asset. The skills for this need will include someone who is very familiar with the Linux Operating systems - Preferably versions of OEL 7 / 9 and can work through the OS configuration and optimization for these environments which would involve a mixture of hands-on keyboard engineering work as well as documentation and baseline control.
Responsibilities to Anticipate :
- You will leverage company and industry best practices and capabilities to assist with design, development, implementation, and support of Oracle Enterprise Linux (OEL) Operating System for the project.
- You will support software deployment of templates, dashboards, and scripts to support program need for the effort.
- You will Design, implement, generate code through scripting tools, test, document, and maintain the system.
- You will assist with development of build / test and integration, optimizing for performance and scalability across on-premise computing environments.
- You will assist engineers with OEL based tool usage and issues, leveraging standards and best practices.
