We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Engineer - Product Owner, to join our engineering team. In this role you will be responsible for the continued development of an advanced, leading-edge, software system providing excellent technical guidance and team communication.
As the Senior Systems Engineer - Product Owner (SE - PO) you will :
- Function in a technical role in a SAFe Agile development environment and effectively work and communicate with all levels of Program Leadership, Customers, and Engineers on the Program team.
- Collaborate with the systems engineering and subcontractor teams to design and develop software.
- Assist in providing technical direction and clarification to subcontractors during the entire software development lifecycle; from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment, and operations.
- Perform solution decomposition from customer epics, to capabilities, to features, to stories according to SAFe practices.
- Apply systems engineering expertise in particular to feature designs to reduce overall risk to the software development lifecycle.
- Engage with customer user representatives to gather user needs and incorporate into the feature designs.
- Engage with SMEs from other disciplines to fully understand the solution and document the designs.
