We are looking to hire a part-time Yoga Instructor for the weekends.
What You'll Do
Avenues Recovery Center at Prince Frederick is a 93-bed residential facility which offers drug and alcohol detox and inpatient rehabilitation services. Newly remodeled, fresh and inviting, our expansive building brings all services under one roof and gives clients a five-star experience as they begin their recovery. Our unparalleled medical and clinical team are on call 24/7 to respond to every
need, and consistently provide care in the most dignified and compassionate manner possible. The atmosphere - created by staff and clients alike - is one of acceptance, hope, and healing, and contributes greatly to each client's recovery.

We are looking to hire a part-time Yoga Instructor for the weekends.
What You'll Do
- Develop and conduct group yoga sessions and model yoga positions, breathing, stretches, and
- Create an engaging, therapeutic atmosphere conducive to the development of recovery skills
- Encourage clients to engage, cultivating mindfulness and self - love, awareness, and control
- Collaborate with extended clinical team to track client progress and ensure coordination of care
- Maintain complete documentation of all sessions conducted, and client challenges and progress
- Model all recovery principles such as honesty, integrity and compassion in all client interactions
- High School diploma/ GED preferred
- Min. one year experience in treatment industry preferred
- Valid yoga instruction certification
- Excellent interpersonal, observational, and communication skills
- Strong flexibility, collaboration, and motivational skills
