We are seeking to hire a Lead Nurse Coordinator to join our corporate office located in Lakewood, NJ.
Medical Development
· Maintain knowledge of and assist in the development of medical protocols to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
· Collaborate with Director of medical development to ensure medical trainings and company resources are effective and supporting medical teams in delivery of top quality medical and nursing care
· Collaborate with medical staff to optimize patient care and operational efficiency.
· Integrate evidenced based practice modalities and trainings resources into current medical assessments and practices
· Research effective treatment intervention and best practices for substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions
Medical trainings and Processes
· Facilitate meetings and timely interventions with medical team to model effective medical processes and treatments
· Conduct independent and co facilitated medical trainings
· Evaluate proficiency and needs of the medical team and medical programs by observing on sight across multiple inpatient and outpatient programs to identify areas for quality improvement
· Travel to facilities to conduct on-site audits while providing training and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Quality Assurance
· Conduct weekly chart audits to drive consistent documentation practices and standards of care across company programs
· Conduct quarterly evaluations to ensure adherence to all company medical protocols and processes
· Collaborate with extended operations team to maintain a real time understanding of programmatic strengths and weaknesses to inform development and training agenda
· Assist Director of Medical Development with day to day challenges in ensuring utilization review and quality assurance needs are met
Lead Nurse Qualifications:

Active RN or LPN license

2 years of nursing experience in SUD/behavioral health

Leadership or supervisory experience (preferred)

Strong clinical judgment & crisis management skills

Knowledge of state/federal regulations & EMR systems

BLS/ACLS certification (preferred)
