Avenues Supported Living Services is a non-profit agency, where we Coach, Teach, and Instruct adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities to live a life of their choosing in their homes, in the community and at their paid and volunteer job sites.
Avenues SLS is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Female Attendant Care worker who shares similar Christian values as the individual they will be supporting. The hours available are every Sunday/Wednesday/Thursday and Saturday from 6PM-2AM. The individual will be required to accompany the person receiving support to and from Bible Study, and Church Service on Sundays and Wednesdays. This role consists of providing personalized care and support to an individual with cerebral palsy, assisting with transfers, transportation in your personal vehicle, dinner, physical needs, and other duties as outlined below. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a genuine passion for making a difference in the lives of others.
"I am looking for a female Instructional Coach to work with me in Mission Hills, CA. I am a night owl, and looking for someone who can work from about 6PM until I go to bed around 2AM! I need assistance with transfers, dinner and physical needs due to Cerebral Palsy. I love God, my dog, my friends and family. I enjoy meaningful conversations. I am also looking for support related to checking emails, Facebook and help with Bible study." - CM
Applicants MUST be available to work the specified late swing shift hours (6 PM - 2 AM), demonstrating a commitment to providing consistent care and support. Applicants must be physically capable of assisting with transfers, as the individual requires support with mobility, including being lifted in and out of a wheelchair.

Requirements
- Live Scan Clearance
- Drivers License
- Clean Driving Record
- High School Diploma
- Ability to write or dictate progress notes daily
- IHSS Provider (Already be a provider, or become one)
