About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Maintenance Technician to join our team at Avera Hand County Memorial Hospital. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing equipment and facilities in a timely and efficient manner.
Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance on equipment and facilities to ensure they are in good working condition and meet safety standards.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment and facilities as needed, using strong problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and address them before they become major problems, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed, providing valuable insights into our facility's operations.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner, promoting a culture of teamwork and communication.
Requirements:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety standards, including the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management.
The physical ability to lift heavy equipment and perform other physically demanding tasks, as required by the role.
