$94,640.00 - $141,960.00

Position Highlights

The Ancillary Product Manager will be responsible to 1) develop and execute tactical plans to grow the ancillary product portfolio and monitor and report on product performance; 2) Maintain vendor oversight and business integration; and 3) evaluate new ancillary vendor relationships for all lines of business (Medicare, Group, Individual).

A Brief Overview

Accountable for execution and support of product line and product portfolio delivering results to meet or exceed business targets and will report on product performance to stakeholders. The Insurance Product Manager will coordinate with departments to identify potential product defects or customer suggestions. The Insurance Product Manager will be responsible for completing market research to evaluate competitor products, customer and market needs.

  • Understand industry landscape and market research to gain insights for product and customer needs.
  • Partners with cross functional team to define, develop and deliver differentiated customer experiences.
  • Accountable for execution and support of product line and product portfolio delivering results to meet or exceed business targets and reports on product performance to stakeholders.
  • Utilizes Product Lifecycle Management approach and supports post-launch activities to realize the values outlines in the business cases and to identify future market opportunities.
  • Encourages adaptability informed by emerging solutions, industry trends and changing customer needs.
  • Defines scalable products solutions by deep knowledge of internal and external customers habits.
  • Responsible for ensuring all State and Federal product filing needs and deadlines are met.
  • Supports for vendor management and involvement in ensuring operational fixes and/or administrative issues are handled, policy and procedure development, implementation support, involvement in product training content, change management, business requirement development, product pricing, development of product performance tools, and product pricing as appropriate.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's business, healthcare or marketing

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

  • 4-6 years experience in the health care industry preferred
  • 1-3 years experience with health insurance products preferred
