Job Overview
This position requires a Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate patient care for assigned patients in the Cardiac and Pulmonary rehab settings. The successful candidate will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate all nursing care provided.
- The RN will demonstrate knowledge of exercise principles and develop an appropriate exercise/rehab plan based on cardiac and pulmonary rehab patient evaluation and assessment.
- Ongoing evaluations of patient's compliance and response to therapy will be performed, and the plan of care will be adjusted accordingly.
- Patient/family teaching will be initiated, provided, or delegated at a level of expertise, and documented appropriately.
- The RN will act as a patient/family advocate and intervene if necessary to ensure that patient care is not compromised.
- Participation in planning, scheduling, and coordinating patient care will also be required.
Salary : $31 - $46
