Job Summary The Chaplain is accountable for providing spiritual counsel, guidance and pastoral care for patients, families and/or staff for the Avera Marshall Region. Education and/or Experience Master#s degree in Theology, Divinity, Pastoral Care or a related field required. Minimum of two units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) required. Knowledge of the Ethical and Religious Directives for Catholic Health Care preferred. One or more years of pastoral care within a healthcare organization preferred. One or more years in Hospice ministry preferred. License/Certification/Registration Preferred license/certification/registration: Certification in National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC) or Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or Association of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC) Work Schedule Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm; 80 hours every 2 weeks Pay The hourly range for this position is listed below.
