Position Highlights
Job Summary
Responsible to provide quality cardiac and peripheral vascular ultrasound scans as directed by the physician.
Job Schedule
24-32 hours per week with call, weekend and holiday rotation.
Education/Experience
Must have an Associate of Science degree in cardiovascular ultrasound technology, or a certificate of successful completion from a school of cardiac ultrasound. 2-3 years of previous ultrasound experience preferred. Must have working knowledge of cardiac and vascular pathology.
Licensure/Certification
Must be registered in at least one modality, Cardiac or Vascular Technologist. Must be registered in both modalities within one year from being cross-trained in both echo and vascular exams, and able to take call independently. Maintain required CME’s.
