ROLE SUMMARY
Assist residents with daily activities and provide personal care services in a skilled nursing facility. Perform routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including bathing, dressing, and feeding residents. Assist with medical care activities, such as collecting specimens and assessing patient conditions. Participate in maintaining a clean and safe environment and support families emotionally, educationally, and spiritually. Comply with resident rights and established policies and procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide direct personal care and services to residents, meeting their physical, academic, social, and spiritual needs.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, shaving, oral hygiene, and toileting needs.
- Perform routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including assisting with feeding, answering call lights, and transporting patients.
- Document concise and factual information on appropriate forms.
- Participate in providing emotional, educational, and spiritual support for families.
