About the Role
The Flex Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at Avera Health plays a vital role in providing focused nursing assessments, implementing patient-centered care plans, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform focused nursing assessments, including gathering and recording assessment data, observing, monitoring, and reporting signs, symptoms, and changes in a patient's condition.
- Implement nursing interventions within a patient-centered health care plan, working under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice registered nurse, licensed physician, or other healthcare provider authorized by the state.
- Communicate and collaborate with patients and members of the healthcare team, advocating for the best interest of the patient.
Requirements
- A valid LPN license from the state of practice.
- Three years of experience as an LPN.
- The ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekend shifts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
