">As a Patient Services Representative, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic's reception areas. Your primary responsibilities will include:
">• Welcoming patients, checking them in, and completing registration processes, which involve verifying demographics, insurance, and collecting service payments.
">• Responsible for insurance verifications, authorizations, and obtaining consent and waiver forms as necessary.
">• Scanning pertinent information into patients' records and maintaining accurate and up-to-date documentation.
">• Responding to calls, messages, and faxes, routing them to appropriate individuals or departments when necessary.
">• Coordinating nurse, physician, and patient time to expedite delivery of care and act as a public relations agent for our physicians by providing friendly and efficient service to patients.
">• Directing patients to ancillary services as needed.
">Required Skills and Qualifications
">To succeed in this role, you must possess:
">• High School or GED equivalent or 1-3 months related experience and/or training.
">• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, coordinating workflow with other team members to maintain a productive and efficient environment.
">• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
">• Visual acuity adequate to perform position duties and the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds.
