Clinical Care Specialist Job Description
This role is responsible for providing professional nursing care to patients and families. Communicates with physicians as well as other healthcare team members to provide excellent patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Greets patients and prepares them for physical examination. Screens patients for appropriate information including obtaining the health history, taking vitals, and conducting a nursing assessment. Documents obtained information in patient chart.
- Educates patients and families about diagnostic process, medications, nutrition, and maintenance of health and wellness.
- Suggests solutions to patient care crisis problems and complaints.
