Role and Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive care to residents, including reviewing physician prescriptions, communicating care plans, and coordinating with healthcare teams.
- Develop nursing care plans based on medical histories, resident examinations, and documentation of their condition.
- Teach healthcare requirements by establishing resident care goals, instructing residents and their families, and providing information and resources.
- Evaluate resident care by adhering to therapeutic standards, measuring outcomes against resident care standards, and reviewing records.
- Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following infection-control policies and protocols.
- Care for resident care equipment and coordinate admissions, discharges, and transfers.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Board of Nursing An active license in the state of practice Upon Hire
- 1-3 years Experience working in a clinical or long term care environment
