We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Assistant to join our team at Avera Creighton Care Center. As a member of our multidisciplinary team, you will work collaboratively with nursing staff to provide direct personal care and services to residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with their activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and toileting needs
- Perform routine and non-routine duties as directed by nursing staff, including assisting patients with transfers, ambulation, and repositioning
- Document concise and factual information on appropriate forms
- Assist residents in performing specific medical care activities, such as restorative exercises and collecting specimens
Requirements:
- Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: Commitment to Avera's mission, vision, core values, and social principles; Comply with all aspects of resident rights, including confidentiality and privacy
- Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience: Uphold Avera's standards of Communication, Attitude, Responsiveness, and Engagement (CARE); Comply with safety principles, laws, regulations, and standards associated with CMS, The Joint Commission, DHHS, and OSHA if applicable
