What You'll Do
As a Certified Nursing Assistant at Avera Health, your responsibilities will include:
- Providing direct patient care, assisting with activities of daily living, and ensuring a clean environment.
- Performing routine duties and non-routine tasks as directed by nursing staff, such as assisting with feeding, bathing, and transferring patients.
- Collecting specimens, assessing and documenting completed cares, and providing feedback to nursing staff on patient status or changes in condition.
Essential Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, you must be able to:
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Understand and follow established policies and procedures related to fire safety, infection control, and hazardous materials handling.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to resident rights, including confidentiality and privacy.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Less than one year of related experience or training in patient care or a similar field.
Salary : $18 - $24
