Job Title: Housekeeping Associate
About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Housekeeping Associate to join our team at Avera Gregory Hospital. As a Housekeeping Associate, you will play a crucial role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, residents, and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect patient care areas, including rooms, bathrooms, and common areas;
- Perform daily cleaning tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and mopping floors;
- Assist with laundry duties, including sorting, washing, and folding linens;
- Maintain accurate records of laundry poundage by department and performance breakdown logs;
- Identify and report maintenance needs and supply requests to the Housekeeping Manager;
- Ensure a safe and clean environment by following infection control policies and procedures;
- Work effectively as part of a team to maintain a productive and efficient environment;
Requirements:
- High School or GED Equivalent ; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Ability to work the hours specified and perform physical demands of the job;
- Effective communication and teamwork skills;
