Purpose: Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) play a vital role in the delivery of long-term care services and create a caring and joyful environment for his/her residents.# Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) performs an active role in nursing, as well as mentoring staff, assessing residents, communicating with staff, physicians and residents. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will serve as a resident advocate for quality clinical care. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) maintains confidentiality of patients, visitors, organization personnel and organization business in general. Education and/or Experience Graduate from an accredited two-year college or technical school for professional nursing. Long Term Care and Geriatric services experience preferred. Licensure/Certification/Registration Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Minnesota required. CPR Required. Work Schedule Varied shifts as needed per casual requirements, PRN 1 weekend day per month 1 Holiday per year What Makes Avera Special?
