The Registered Nurse in Long-Term Care is accountable for providing each resident with professional nursing care, assessment, and evaluations. This includes managing nursing activities performed by neighborhood staff, ensuring the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
Key Accountabilities
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, prioritizing resident needs and preferences.
- Conduct regular assessments, making appropriate interventions and adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services, ensuring seamless transitions and efficient resource allocation.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff, addressing concerns and providing updates on care plans and progress.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, adhering to facility policies and regulatory standards.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited institution or Associate's degree with relevant experience.
- Active RN license in the state of practice; certification in long-term care nursing is preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in long-term care, preferably in a leadership or management role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Salary : $38 - $58
