A Brief Overview
Responsible for leading marketing strategy, planning and implementation for region or division of Avera. The Manager will assist leadership in the development and implementation of strategic marketing plans. The Manager works closely with senior leadership to create and manage marketing plans aligned with project deliverables for member acquisition, retention and engagement. The key role of the Manager is to achieve health insurance division goals by creating and managing the implementation of multi-channel marketing programming and managing the Marketing Strategy Partners. This position will align closely with the sales teams to ensure success. This position is also responsible for integrating and acting as the liaison between the clinical delivery side of Avera and the product business side of Avera within marketing. The Manager collaborates with marketing staff to develop and manage testing strategies to optimize all elements of marketing campaigns. The Manager partners with the marketing team to develop reports and dashboards that clearly track key metrics and indicators for CRM (Customer Relationship Management).
What you will do
- Collaborate with marketing staff to analyze marketing needs and requirements, including work flow, department issues, data challenges, and organizational strengths and weaknesses.
- Develop and manage testing strategies to optimize all elements of marketing campaigns.
- Assist with development and execution strategies of marketing campaigns by analyzing customer/member insights and industry trends.
- This includes monitor and maximize customer lifetime value strategies through the CRM.
- Partner with the marketing team to develop reports and dashboards that clearly track key metrics and indicators for CRM, ensuring the ability to report on performance of campaigns and tactics.
- Bring together marketing research, customer/member analytics to understand areas of opportunity within Avera.
- Share marketing insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
- Conceptualization marketing initiatives that deepen engagement with the agent communication in close collaboration with supporting division.
- Serves as the marketing representative on several key work groups as assigned by marketing leadership or region/division supporting.
- Works cross-functionally within the marketing department to ensure the team remains well informed and engaged as appropriate.
- Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, developing, training, and retaining employees; planning, assigning, and leading work; appraising performance; rewarding and coaching employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- Bachelor's in Marketing/Business or related field.
Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- 4-6 years of healthcare marketing experience.
