About the Job
This position is responsible for assisting patients in accessing care throughout the clinic. Key responsibilities include welcoming patients, completing registration, and verifying demographics and insurance.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work efficiently, and maintain confidentiality. They will also be responsible for coordinating appointments, answering calls, and expediting delivery of care.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome patients, complete registration, and verify demographics and insurance.
- Verify insurance authorizations, obtain consent and waiver forms as necessary.
- Scan pertinent information into patient records.
- Answer calls, messages, and faxes, routing them to appropriate individuals or departments if needed.
- Maintain computer appointment scheduling and adhere to office policies and parameters.
- Coordinate nurse, physician, and patient time to expedite delivery of care.
Requirements
- High School or GED Equivalent or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary : $18 - $23
