About the Role
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Med Surg department, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care by assessing patient needs, developing and implementing care plans, and providing educational support to patients and their families. You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions, communicating with other healthcare providers, and providing physical, emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to patients, families, and friends.
- Develop and implement nursing care plans by obtaining medical histories, documenting patient conditions, and establishing nursing diagnoses.
- Evaluate patient care by measuring health outcomes against patient care standards and re-evaluating care objectives.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and adhere to our organization's standards of communication, attitude, responsiveness, and engagement (CARE). A registered nurse (RN) license in the state of practice is required upon hire.
