Position Highlights
Position Summary:
The Manager of Centralized Scheduling is responsible for managing the scheduling process for clinic and hospital procedures. This role ensures efficient, accurate, and timely scheduling to support patient care and provider workflow. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with JCAHO and State Health Department standards and regulations, and confidentiality of patient information.
Work Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week. Hours may vary to accommodate the needs of the department and hospital.
Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical scheduling, prior authorization, or a related healthcare role, with leadership experience required.
Licensure/Certification:
None required.
