Job Summary
The Food Service Ambassador ensures that the patients and families are cared for using the Avera McKennan CARE standards. The Food Service Ambassador will provide excellent customer service when assisting patients with meal ordering, delivering meals and snacks, and acting as a liaison to other departments regarding patient meal services. In addition, the RSA will monitor diet orders, record intakes, and prepare simple food items.
Education and/or Experience
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Experience in food service or in a related customer service field preferred.
- Related experience or education demonstrating knowledge of normal, therapeutic and modified diets.
Work Schedule
- M-F 6:45am-7:15pm; PRN, (as needed) 12 hours shifts
- Every other weekend and holiday
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $17.50 - $21.25 per hour
