A Brief Overview

Responsible for developing and analyzing data using statistical methods. The Data Analyst prepares the data for use by hospital committees, and other designated groups and leadership. This position will define processes on data collection and will work with, manage and organize large, complex datasets.

What you will do

• Performs basic statistical analysis by gathering and cleaning data and performs quality control during the data collection process.
• Serves as expert in the analysis.
• Evaluates current and new radiology CPT codes for accuracy and usage.
• Demonstrates accountability to provide complete and accurate information.
• Must be able to import and export data from and into a variety of formats, including but not limited to comma-delimited and excel files.
• Develops tip sheets for programs and processes and PowerPoints to multidisciplinary team.
• Analyzes performance improvement data and lead committee.
• Compiles volumes, turnaround times, and productivity.
• Participates in cross functional internal and external quality teams to improve overall organization performance.
• Performs data collection, analysis, reporting and presentation of quality improvement activities.

Required Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• 1-3 years Experience in a health-related field

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• Bachelor's Health Information Management (HIM) or health related field
