Every other weekend/ holiday, Occas. 11:00am-8:00pm shift

A Brief Overview
Responsible for light food preparation, putting away storeroom stock, pushing carts to food pantry's, units, or catering functions, washing dishes, traying food for patients and assigned cleaning of the kitchen.
What you will do
- Completes assigned tray line positions in an efficient and timely manner.
- Delivers patient meal trays to Ambassador staff in an efficient and timely manner.
- Cleans and stores dishware, silverware, and cooking equipment according to department standards
- Completes assigned cleaning according to department standards
- Records food and equipment temperatures and takes appropriate action.
- Stores and/or disposes of food items not used on the tray line according to department standards.
- Completes simple food preparation, and assembles nutrition items for the patient areas.
- Completes documentation to track food cost and delivers items as requested according to department standards.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:
- High School or GED Equivalent
- Prior experience in Food Service
