Position Highlights : 7 : 00am-3 : 30pm; 7 : 30am-4pm, occasional weekend / holiday / call; 72hrs / 2wks

A Brief Overview : Responds and assists the Physician and the Registered Nurse by providing assistance to professional staff during the pre-procedure, procedure, or post-procedure period. This position will assist with procedure room set-up, scope cleaning and scope maintenance, as well as entering and maintaining inventory control.
What you will do :
- Transports and transfers patients.
- Prepares the room for procedure in a timely fashion.
- Maintains efficiency in handling equipment at physician’s request during procedures.
- Verifies specimens with Physician and Registered Nurse.
- Achieves and maintains a working knowledge of equipment and tools.
- Assists in positioning patient or equipment for procedure as well as hooking the patient up to the patient monitor.
- Assists with secretarial / clerical duties as needed.
- Requisitions supplies and equipment, maintenance and repair requests and prepare related forms.
- Cleans and maintains equipment.
- Keeps stock and equipment inventories.
