$17.25 - $21.25

Position Highlights

Tuesday - Saturday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM and Sunday rotating weekend checks

Must also have a valid or able to obtain (within 6mths) a Minnesota State Boilers License, a level entry "Special Engineer" or higher for this position.

A Brief Overview

Maintain a high standard of cleanliness while following the Environmental Services Department policies and procedures.

What you will do

• Assembles necessary cleaning supplies on cart and delivers housekeeping and laundry supplies to designated areas. Supplies housekeeping closet with needed supplies.
• Transports soiled linen to laundry.
• Empties trash containers and wash containers as needed. Empties recycling containers and prepares for pick up. Transports, records, and packs medical waste for pick up.
• Cleans entrances, stairwells, and elevators. Washes windows, lights, and vents periodically.
• Dry & wet mops all floors, vacuums rugs, and strips & waxes floor as needed. Scrub & buff floors with electric equipment as needed.
• Assists housekeeping and laundry aides with certain tasks if needed.

Preferred Education, License/Certification, or Work Experience:

• High School or GED Equivalent
