Job Title: Respiratory Therapist
Avera Sacred Heart Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join our team. This is a regular, full-time position with rotating shifts, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

About the Job:
The Respiratory Therapist will be responsible for assessing, treating, and managing patients with cardiopulmonary conditions. The individual must demonstrate proficiency in all modalities of respiratory care, including oxygen therapy, breathing treatments, airway clearance, blood gases, and ventilator management.
The successful candidate will evaluate patients to determine their respiratory needs and develop plans to meet those needs. They will also provide education to patients and families about respiratory care and disease management.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field
- Active license in the state of practice
- Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care
