What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN or LPN position at Avera?
Full time RN/LPN Charge Nurse position available to work on the day shift. The Charge Nurse plans, directs, coordinates and supervises resident care and is responsible for ensuring and performing ongoing resident assessment for changes in resident health status and documents accurately and appropriately to ensure initiation of appropriate interventions. The Charge Nurse must also possess the ability to make decisions, problem-solve and function effectively while dealing with residents, families, co-workers and physicians in any situation. Candidates must also be able to identify problems and goals for care plans and ensure writing and development of interventions to meet those outcomes in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The Charge Nurse must also maintain competency and must be current in nursing process skills and procedures. Sign on bonus available.
