Job Description
We are seeking a Dining Room Server to join our food and beverage team. The ideal candidate will be able to create exceptional dining experiences for our guests by providing top-notch service and ensuring a seamless experience from greeting to departure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Maintain a professional image and working relationships.
- Collect payment for food and beverage services while following company cash handling and accounting procedures.
- Provide exceptional service, including taking drink orders, delivering beverages, and offering appetizers.
- Take entire orders, write them down, and repeat them to guests for clarification.
- Understand proper food storage and sanitation procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Key Skills and Abilities:
- POS system competency with Aloha and Open Table.
- Lift 30 pounds, carry trays of food and drinks, and stand during 6-8 hour shifts.
- Manage unsatisfactory guest experiences and notify managers as needed.
- Able to multitask under stress and remain organized throughout shifts.
- Familiarity with lunch and dinner menus, wine lists, and knowledge of various dishes and ingredients.
