The salary range for this position is between $155.000 and $185.000.
Actual salary at the time of hire may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant qualifications, skills, and experience. The company also currently offers a Long-Term Incentive Plan (cash plan) target of 20% base salary, annual performance bonus target of 20% base salary (subject to meeting plan requirements) and comprehensive health benefits (employer funded), unlimited vacation time and 401k plan (subject to change or modification from time to time).
POSTITION SUMMARY
This role is essential for aligning IT initiatives with business goals, ensuring that technology solutions effectively support and drive the US business strategies. This includes the overall responsibility to serve as the interface within the business unit for the purpose of business technology strategy development, solution discovery, project management, service management, risk management and relationship management. In addition, the IT Business Partner will serve as the primary IT point of contact for the US business unit, acting as a trusted advisor and advocate for both IT and business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves as the business relationship link between business unit and IT.
- Partner with business leadership and other key stakeholders within IT organization to define opportunities and identify and prioritize projects based on predefined criteria.
- Provides highly valued strategic consulting level support and guidance through key IT initiatives.
- Communicate decisions, priorities and relevant project information regarding business unit requests and projects and initiatives.
- Proactively share knowledge of technology risks and opportunities to build competitive advantage and improve efficiency and effectiveness of business unit.
- Accountable for any IT related topic in the business unit. Liaison between all business areas within the unit and Global IT organization.
- Act as project manager when needed and ensure excellence in project set-up and in project execution and ensuring E-2-E operations, end user support and quality of services.
- Communication of IT projects / services to all relevant stakeholder in the business unit.
QUALIFICATIONS, CAREER EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a comparable field
- Strong technical background and understanding of processes and technologies for commercial environments and corporate functions, primarily within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Solid knowledge of technologies for commercial platforms such as Veeva, Salesforce, CMS, LMS, etc.
- Sound understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library)
- IT professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in international enterprise organizations.
- Proven experience in process management and the implementation of software and systems.
- Significant experience in managing large, enterprise-wide initiatives
- Experience conducting developing and conducting training experiences in front of large audiences, including senior executives
- Strategic and creative mindset
- Excellent written and verbal communication and strong presentation skills required
- Adaptability and agility in a dynamic environment with proven ability to work in teams and independently
TRAVEL
- The ability to travel up to 20%, including overnights, as dictated by business need across USA and at times internationally
- The duties of this role are generally conducted in an office environment
- This position may operate out of our headquarters based in NJ on a hybrid schedule.
