About the Role
Averitt is seeking an experienced Class A CDL shuttle driver to join our team. As a shuttle driver, you will be responsible for transporting freight between our customer's location in Waller, TX and other locations within the Houston area and Stafford, TX.
Responsibilities
- Transport freight between customer locations using day cabs and dry vans
- Perform pre-trip inspections to ensure safe transportation of goods
- Enter/exit commercial motor vehicles and trailers safely
- Count freight and perform yard mule/switcher operations as needed
Requirements
- Class A CDL with 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer experience within the past 3 years
- No convictions for reckless driving within the past 5 years
