What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Avero?
Our manufacturing customer in the Elkhart County area is looking to add a Maintenance Manager to their team. This will be a hands-on leadership role that will require someone who can manage and troubleshoot projects that involve electrical repairs as well as mechanical. This person will also be leading capital equipment projects. This is a full-time, direct-hire position. The candidate needs to be experienced with:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with expertise in encoders, servos, welding, and fabrication.
- Extensive knowledge of building systems, such as plumbing, electrical, and PLCs.
- Strong organizational and planning skills for maintenance schedules and building systems.
- Hire and train maintenance department staff.
