Employment Type : 9 Month contract with potential for extensions and conversion to FTE

Job Site : Kent, WA - Onsite

Pay Rate Range : $42 / hr – 46.20 / hr

Shifts Available :

  • Monday - Thursday : 5 : 00AM - 3 : 30PM
  • Monday - Thursday : 3 : 00PM - 1 : 30AM
  • Friday / Saturday / Sunday : 5 : 00AM - 6 : 00PM

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Aircraft Mechanic to assemble, inspect, test, and troubleshoot advanced mechanical systems for cutting-edge aerospace projects. Your expertise will play a vital role in ensuring mission readiness and aircraft safety, contributing to innovations in the aviation and aerospace industries.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform assembly, maintenance, and repair of a variety of aircraft components, including structural, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanically actuated systems.
  • Perform close-tolerance drilling, reaming, and fastener installation for structural assemblies.
  • Troubleshoot, test, and repair avionics and mechanical systems to ensure compliance with FAA or industry standards.
  • Collaborate with engineers and technical teams to provide feedback for assembly processes, design concepts, and aircraft modifications.
  • Follow detailed work instructions, schematics, and blueprints to complete maintenance or assembly tasks.
  • Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify functionality and safety of all components and systems.
  • Qualifications : Education :

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Associate degree, certification, or equivalent military training in aviation mechanics, aerospace maintenance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience :

  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in aviation mechanics or precision assembly.
  • Experience with aircraft structural assembly, repairs, and maintenance, including close-tolerance work.
  • Familiarity with FAA regulations, aerospace standards, and aviation systems.
  • Skills :

  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical schematics, blueprints, and work instructions.
  • Skilled in using diagnostic tools, hand tools, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and avionics systems in aviation or aerospace.
  • Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to teamwork and safety.
