What are the responsibilities and job description for the Calibration Specialist position at Averro?
Location: Redmond
Hours: 7-9am start
Pay: 25-28/hr DOE

- Conduct testing and calibration of parts including assessments of specific factors.
- Perform pre-shipment inspections on parts, ensuring proper software setup, product quality, and appearance.
- Verify all orders are complete with the correct components and accessories.
- Provide feedback to the Engineering team to support continuous improvement.
- Design or modify manufacturing fixtures, molds, and jigs to enhance production processes.
- Carry out final assembly tasks, including potting, encapsulating, sanding, cleaning, epoxy bonding, curing, stamping, etching, impregnating, and color-coding parts and assemblies.
Qualifications:
- An Associate’s Degree or equivalent, with 1-3 years of experience in a hands-on, detail-oriented, quality-focused role; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency with hand tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to precise procedures.
- Flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and production needs.
- A solid understanding of basic algebra and geometry.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret diverse instructions effectively.
