We are looking for a skilled and highly motivated Software Developer to join our team on a project aimed at developing a rapid response system for urgent needs in supply chain. This exciting opportunity will involve developing key aspects of a business information system with a primary deliverable due within three months. The project s goal is to build an online marketplace to support decentralized emergency production and supply during future pandemics and other disruptions in the supply chain.
As part of this initiative, you will play an integral role in developing a highly available centralized system that will enable emergency production work orders to be dispatched to distributed manufacturing organizations tracking these orders and ensuring their timely fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain web applications using React JS (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Build backend services using Python and .NET C# to support the core functionality of the system.
- Participate in the design, implementation, and testing of emergency response supply chain systems.
- Lead the development of a marketplace platform that links designers and manufacturers for urgent supply chain needs.
- Work to ensure the high availability and scalability of the platform to support emergency situations.
- Provide technical leadership and ensure timely delivery of project milestones, with an emphasis on high-quality code and performance optimization.
Required Skills:
- Strong expertise in React JS (HTML, CSS, JS).
- Proficiency in Python and .NET C# for developing backend services.
- Experience with TypeScript, Dapr, and Docker.
- Knowledge of the Manufacturing Domain or experience in supply chain management.
- Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in software development.
- Experience with highly available, scalable systems and web applications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to lead and mentor others.
Nice to Have:
- Demonstrated leadership experience in guiding teams or junior developers.
- Familiarity with distributed systems and developing decentralized applications.
