TITLE: Production Planner
LOCATION: Everett, WA (onsite)
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: 3 month Contract
PAY: $39-$45/hour

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are seeking a Production Planner for a thriving aerospace manufacturing company in Everett, WA! This role is responsible for coordinating, planning, scheduling, and mapping out how products flow throughout their production process or cycle. This is the perfect opportunity for someone with manufacturing planning experience to make an immediate impact with an aviation/aerospace industry leader!
- Implement engineering change orders in the ERP system.
- Manage scheduling parameters like lead times and cycle times.
- Create production schedules and workflows.
- Address bottlenecks and collaborate with operations teams to resolve issues.
- Work with Purchasing to manage outsourcing and make/buy decisions.
- Analyze demand and supply, and recommend actions for approval.
- Track product flow with outside processors to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with support functions (QC, materials, shipping) for on-time production and shipment.
- Develop and improve production plans.
- Maintain forecasts, schedules, and procurement plans based on historical data and sales.
- Support new product introductions and manage scheduling for model changes.
- Review material supply and demand and resolve MRP exceptions.
- Evaluate quotes from contracted manufacturers for price, quality, and service.
- Resolve material shortages and ensure timely production to meet customer requirements.
- Set production rates to meet demand while optimizing inventory levels.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Associate’s Degree (Bachelor’s preferred).
- 5 years of experience in Master Scheduling, Production Planning, Capacity Planning, and Forecasting.
- Knowledge of planning tools such as CRP, LEAN, and TOC.
- Experience with S&OP, forecasting, and planning.
- Aerospace or electronics industry experience preferred.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS:
- Strong experience with complex planning and forecasting programs.
- Familiarity with MRP and inventory analysis tools.
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
