ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a Quality Engineering Manager for our client in the Medical Device industry!
- Apply risk management processes to products and the quality management system (QMS).
- Assist in the development and implementation of fixtures, tooling, methods, and equipment for product inspection and testing.
- Develop, track, and analyze quality metrics to monitor QMS performance and support continuous improvement.
- Lead and conduct failure investigations and root cause analyses for nonconforming products or processes.
- Apply statistical methods and process controls to inspection and testing activities.
- Support manufacturing and design/development teams through validation, qualification, and verification efforts.
- Evaluate and support product and process changes, ensuring compliance with quality and regulatory requirements.
- Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) system to drive issue resolution and improvement.
- Lead and oversee the internal audit program, including scheduling, execution, and documentation of audits.
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and direction to quality inspection/technician staff and manage daily priorities.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, life sciences, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality engineering role
- Minimum 2 years in a quality leadership or supervisory capacity
