Landscape Maintenance Manager

We are looking for a full-time Property Maintenance Manager with experience in:

• Supervising and managing lawn mowing crews

• Mowing lawns using both riding and push mowers

• Trimming and edging around sidewalks, flower beds, and walls

• Planting flowers, shrubs, trees, and grass

• Snow plowing requirement in winter

• Trimming/pruning trees and shrubs

• Cleaning lawn debris with rakes, shovels, and blowers

• Overseeing jobs and ensuring they are performed in accordance with industry and company standards

• Communicating plans and production goals with crew members and clients

• Ensuring all safety and maintenance procedures are followed

• Tracking and recording all expenses and crew hours worked

• Maintaining job sites and seeing them through to completion

• Maintaining a clean vehicle and equipment

• Completing paperwork and information pertaining to job

• Interacting with clients to ensure job satisfaction

• Assessing progress and making recommendations to ensure the route is complete

• Make sure each property is finished with highest quality of standards

Applicants must:

• Have 2-5 years of experience managing landscape maintenance crews

• Have knowledge and experience operating and repairing lawn maintenance equipment

• Be willing and able to lift 50 pounds

• Be able to operate standard landscaping machinery such as riding mowers, trimmers, and blowers

• Have a valid driver's license

• Maintain a regular, dependable attendance record

• Be able to work variable hours which may include weekends, holidays and overtime

• Be comfortable working in a variety of weather conditions

We prefer applicants with:

• Bilingual English/Spanish

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.75 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
