What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Clinical Director at Averte, you will set the tone for exceptional clinical care and lead a team of professionals dedicated to client-centered, strengths-based therapeutic services. You’ll ensure that all clients receive high-quality, ethical, and responsive treatment that supports their journey toward wellness and independence.
We are looking for a leader who exemplifies our values of trustworthiness, collaboration, mission-mindedness, respect, and vision. Key responsibilities include:
- Clinical Leadership:
- Provide individual and group therapy aligned with treatment plans and industry standards.
- Oversee clinical evaluations, diagnoses, and collaborative treatment planning.
- Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation and risk management practices.
- Lead the development and implementation of client outcome measures.
- Team Supervision & Development:
- Supervise and support Clinical Program Managers, therapists, Skills Specialists, and interns.
- Conduct clinical supervision, trainings, and performance evaluations.
- Hire and onboard new clinical staff while fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
- Coordinate with residential managers to align clinical and residential services.
- Program Coordination:
- Serve as part of the leadership team, contributing to the overall vision and direction of Averte.
- Oversee crisis intervention efforts and ensure clinical staff are equipped to respond.
- Collaborate with external treatment providers and referral sources.
- Engage in program development and continuous quality improvement initiatives.

What You Need:
We’re seeking a highly motivated and mission-aligned professional with:
- A master’s degree in a human service field (e.g., social work, counseling, psychology).
- Current licensure in one of the following: LCPC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW (must be licensed in the state of practice).
- At least three years of leadership experience in a behavioral health setting.
- Proven ability to provide supervision, lead clinical teams, and coordinate complex treatment programs.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and electronic health record (EHR) systems.
