MARKETING COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR
Purpose of Position
The Marketing Communications Coordinator is responsible for all Avery Brewing Co.’s consumer-facing, brand related communications distributed via owned social media, longer form blog content, website and internal communications. The Marketing Communications Coordinator will create strategic communication plans for owned platforms that meet brand marketing objectives. The position will involve ongoing management of external communications ranging from social media, averybrewing.com, print and digital assets, as well as the planning of media content for brand and event promotion. The role will gather and coordinate information among multiple departments, including sales and marketing, admin team, Avery Tap Room, as well as sponsorship partners and occasionally retail partners.
Responsibilities
- Develops annual omnichannel communications strategy and provide oversight.
- Manage reporting and analytics of Avery Brewing’s digital and social media communications activities and make recommendations to manager for new strategies .
- Manage communications programs including campaign content planning along with integration and expansion of social media strategy for Avery Brewery Company initiatives and Avery’s Taproom. Maintain and develop content, content calendars, and creates and distributes internal monthly newsletters.
- Studies trends in social media, emerging social media tools and researches popular social media platforms to provide recommendations on how to leverage .
- Execute day-to-day, real-time consumer engagement through Avery’s digital platforms including social media, website, CRM (MailChimp), and other distribution points including Respond to customer inquiries and comments through all social media channels.
- Concept and produce relevant social photo and video/”reel” content for social channels
- Create and update website content and assets.
- Manage CRM (MailChimp), write monthly e-newsletter and continue to develop targeted e-newsletter communications.
- Coordinate promotion and communication logistics of Avery’s events with event manager and event partners, including advertising, digital and collateral to ensure a cohesive message.
- Maintains and updates photo and video assets to effectively share Avery Brewing’s story and elevate the brand image.
- Maintains high standard of quality and consistency of both voice and design in all print and digital materials.
- Communicate with media partners through press releases, sending samples, answering press inquiries, and coordinating media events with guidance from Director of Public Relations and Communications at Mahou USA.
- Collaborates with quality control and brewers to develops and maintain copy needed for product descriptions.
- Contributes to marketing campaign efforts including themes, headlines, copy and consumer engagement tactics
- Collaborates with Founders social teams as needed
Requirements
- Minimum of three years of Marketing Communications experience in a professional setting
- Experience using communications and social media analytical tools
- Ability to perform computer work for up to 6 hours per day
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail

- Hybrid work schedule. Expected to be in office three days a week, especially on mandatory days and for any additional critical in person meetings.
