Program Dates & Times:
June 30- July 11, 2025 (Session 2)
8:45 am – 12:15 pm
Flexible scheduling available
No Program on July 4, 2025
- Plan, prepare, and present effective daily instruction for students.
- Develop curriculum for fun, hands-on, and creative classes
- Teach three 55-minute classes on different topics
- Maintain daily attendance
- Assist with transitions of students from class to class throughout the morning
- Share with parent/guardians general class overview
- Report any concerns to the Director of The Summer Program
- Provide a safe environment
- Supervise a Counselor Aide in the classroom
- No grades or assessments required during Summer Program
Courses Program Descriptions:
Exploring Painting (Sessions 1 and 2) Grades 3-4
Calling all artists to explore the art of painting! Concepts covered will include color theory, brush and non-brush techniques, and composition, as students use a variety of paints and mediums. Students will enjoy creating many works of art while expanding their creative skills.
Express in Mess! The Art of Creativity (Session 2) Grades 5-8
This mixed media class is all about discovering the joy of creativity without the pressure of perfection! Students will experiment with a variety of ideas, materials, and techniques, embracing playful exploration and happy accidents along the way. Through hands-on projects, they’ll learn to think outside the box, take creative risks, and enjoy the process of making art. Over two weeks, students will build confidence in their creativity and find inspiration in the unexpected.
Art of Paper (Session 2) Grades 5-8
There is a lot more to paper than what goes on with a pen or paint! This class shows us how to make art forms that use paper in 3 dimensions. Explore all the diverse ways we use paper in creating artwork! Get creative with folding, building, sculpture, shadows, papier mâché, and more!

Pay & Benefits:
- Salary based on qualifications and experience. Base starting at $23.65/hour.
- No benefits for this part-time, seasonal position.
- Free registration for the Summer Program for qualifying aged children of the teacher.
